Itinerary: hotel pick up, Great Budda, Hase Temple (Buddha, flowers, nice seaside view), Fresh local Kamakura food for lunch, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine or Hokokuji bamboo temple, Komachi shopping Street, end at the major station in Tokyo Where to visit: We will visit most popular sights in Kamakura, an ancient capital of Japan. Start at Tokyo, we take JR train about 1. 5 hrs and Eno-den, the local lovely train in Kamakura. Great Buddha is the second largest Buddha in Japan and surprisingly it is located in open air! Hase temple is famous for flowers especially hydrangea so you can enjoy various flowers in season. There are also many interesting Budda, Kannon, and gods of wealth so you can wish to be rich. For lunch we can eat typical local foods there. Kamakura is famous for seafood but If you do not like it, I can arrange other foods based on your request. Then we visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and enjoy shopping at Komachi street . If you would like to stay longer for shopping after the tour, you can. If you feel enough for Kamakura, we can come back to Tokyo together. Instead of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, you can also choose Hokokuji bamboo temple. This tour includes: - A nationally licensed professional guide in English, French, Spanish, German, etc - Transportation fee for a guide - Pick up at your hotel (in Tokyo 23 ward) What’s Extra: - Transportation fee for guests (about 3500 JPY/person for trains) - Lunch and entrance fee for guests and a guide Meeting Location: Near the reception desk at your hotel ( in 23 ward of Tokyo) Yokohama port pick up is available with additional fee. Most stations have few elevators or escalators. Also temples and shrines have stairs so it might be difficult to visit all attractions if you have mobility limitation.
